midweek musings
what i wouldn't give for some sun right now! it is freeeezing here....apparently it will get to minus 22 degrees! i cant believe it....i need a coat, asap. its such a hard decision, what coat will i buy? what color? what material? will it be warm enough? and it has to go over everything.....tough one.
so today is thanksgiving for the Americans. i know some Americans here so i must acknowledge this holiday. im getting all the holidays here, its quite nice actually, i get Korean holidays, American holidays and the usual one's. seems like every couple of weeks there's something to celebrate! anyway, going for a family meal with everyone tonight, im quite excited, apparently there's gunna be potatoes.
this week has flown in again, nothing too noteworthy really....oh, apart from the north Korean attack! wtf? nobody here seems worried tho, business as usual. hopefully we won't get nuked or anything, i really don't wanna go back to Dublin.
On a lighter note, i taught my kids to say peace instead of goodbye and its gotten a bit out of hand, im walkin down the corridor and their all just shouting, 'TEACHAAA, PEACE'. im gunna have to rein them in. i have no idea how. i feel like a pretend adult, i think they know it too, children are quite perceptive it turns out.
One of my co-teachers just came over and gave me some fresh apple juice.....mmmm.
I must go now and part knowledge on these youngster's. im gunna get them to say 'whats the craic?'.
peace
