I'm loving the job, I think that's why it's going by so fast, I really enjoy everyday. Which is weird. My apartment and my school are both perfect, I think I've been really lucky that way, I live in a great area called Nowon. Its North of the city but everywhere in the city is so accessible, the subway is amazing!
I've made some great friends and met so many amazing people who have made it easy for me to feel at home here. Everyone in my school is really nice and helpful too, we've had some fun outings too, they are huge into socializing with co-workers and there is stuff organized all the time, some people have teachers meals and trips every week! I don't have that many but I have enough to keep me going!
Lat weekend we went on a field trip to a Korean cookie museum....random, so random. We got to make the cookies, they were delish. Then we went for a walk around a lake and everyone bonded, then we went for a meal and everyone got pissed. It was great craic...
The male teachers looked hilarious! They all stood at their own group, away from the women...just like at home.
All of my co-teachers are tiny, I'm like a big awkward giant...It's funny. Korea is for little people.
